Dorothea Tall Dress Boots
Height is the argument for the Dorothea. The shaft runs tall and stops at a clean, straight topline, and everything below follows that line.
The toe is softly squared and the block heel is sculpted rather than stacked, which gives the boot an architectural proportion instead of a chunky one. The panelling is considered and tonal stitching runs along the shaft seam, so the construction shows without shouting. Smooth leather, rich suede and a croc-embossed finish all appear across the range. Inside there is a cushioned footbed with built-in arch support and shock absorption at the heel, and an inside zipper handles getting in and out without breaking the streamlined profile.
It flexes at the ankle where a stiff boot fights back. Wear it under a dress or over a slim trouser through the cold months, and let the straight topline do the work.
