These terms govern your use of theshoedepot.com and any order you place through it. The site is operated by Shoe Depot, 4520 18th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11204, United States.

Using this site

You may browse and buy from this site for your own personal use. Do not attempt to interfere with the site, its security, or the accounts of other customers, and do not scrape or reproduce its content for a competing service.

You must be able to enter a binding contract to place an order. Orders from resellers may be declined.

Products and descriptions

We describe every shoe from what the product itself carries — construction, materials, closure, sizing and width. We do not add facts a shoe does not have. Photographs are of the product, but colour reproduction varies between screens, and a finish will not always look on your monitor as it does in the shop.

Sizing is given as women's US sizes, with widths as medium or wide. Fit varies between shapes; our size guide explains how to check, and we would rather you called than guessed.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and are shown on the product page. The total you are charged, including shipping, is shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change never applies to an order already placed.

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor. We do not store card details.

Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we dispatch the order, not when the site sends an order confirmation email.

We may decline or cancel an order — for example where an item turns out to be unavailable, where the price or description was clearly wrong, or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.

Delivery, returns and refunds

Delivery is covered by our shipping policy, and returns and refunds by our refund policy. Both form part of these terms.

Liability

We are responsible for supplying shoes that match their description and are of satisfactory quality. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you placed your order, or for anything caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delay. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Intellectual property

The text and photography on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may not reproduce them commercially without our written consent.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
